Delonte West reportedly working at Florida rehab center originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Delonte West’s journey to recovery continues to trend upward as he reportedly landed a job at the rehabilitation center he checked into months ago.

In January of 2020, a disturbing video of the former NBA player surfaced of West panhandling in the Washington D.C. area and getting handcuffed.

West's former teammates and coaches took to social media to express their concerns and offered support, before Mavericks owner Mark Cuban met up with him at a gas station and convinced him to enter treatment. Now, according to Shams Charania, four months later, West now has a job at Rebound Therapy Center in Florida where he attended and continues to flourish.

West, who played eight seasons in the NBA, was a star at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Maryland.
