The Storm opened its title defense with a 97-83 win over the Las Vegas Aces Saturday afternoon.

Murray won three Class 3A state championships titles at  Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Washington in addition to being named Washington Mr. Basketball.

After one season as a Washington Husky where he averaged 16.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.8 steals in 33.5 minutes while starting all 34 games, he declared for the 2016 NBA Draft.

The Spurs selected him near the end of the first round and he recently signed a four-year $64M contract extension.
