What Deion Sanders, CU players are saying heading into rivalry game vs. Nebraska

Although most current Buffs players and coaches have only been in Boulder for less than a year, they fully understand the gravity of Colorado’s longtime rivalry with Nebraska. Head coach Deion Sanders made that clear during his press conference earlier this week ahead of Saturday’s home opener against those hated Huskers.

Hopefully, there will be less red inside Folsom Field than there was in 2019, but winning remains the ultimate goal for the Buffs, who are now ranked No. 22 in the AP Poll after beating TCU.

With kickoff between the Buffs and Huskers looming, here’s what Coach Prime and his players have been saying:

Message of the week

Focus is key

Keep the red out

"Rivarly is rivalry"

Shilo looking forward to playing at Folsom

RBs update

"This is personal"

Friday morning buzz

Jimmy Horn Jr. preparing for his postgame interview

Protect the crib

"I just know we don't like red"
