Sports video game ratings are all the buzz these days, as both Madden NFL 20 and NBA 2K20 are set to be released over the next couple of months.

The Sacramento Kings were one of the first NBA teams to reach out inquiring about a rating, as they were curious about what their star point guard was rated.

2K asked for 10,000 retweets, then gave Kings fan a first look and rating for Fox.

Fox spoke with The Athletic's Jason Jones following the announcement, but didn't have a significant reaction, calling his 86 overall rating "cool".

The Kentucky product is much more focused on improving his rating in real life, as he prepares for a stint with the Team USA Basketball Men's Select Team, where he'll compete against the Men's National Team before the FIBA World Cup in September. He'll be joined by teammates Marvin Bagley III and Harrison Barnes, who is competing with the national team.

"Got a couple calls, but I'm just looking forward to going out there and competing against some of the best guys in the league," Fox said.

After averaging 17.3 points and 7.3 assists per game a season ago, Fox should be among the top point guards in what has become a loaded western conference. Fox may even have a chance to make the national team roster as player after player withdraws from consideration.
