On May 19, 2019, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo tied an NBA playoff record for rebounding during an overtime loss to the Toronto Raptors in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Antetokounmpo recorded 12 points, 23 rebounds, seven assists and four blocked shots in the 118-112 loss. His 20 defensive rebounds in the contest tied the all-time playoff mark, a record also held by Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan, who each accomplished it twice.

The Bucks took the first two games of the series before the Raptors reeled off four straight to advance to the NBA Finals. Antetokounmpo later said the Bucks likely would have won the series had they not lost that Game 3 in overtime.

Antetokounmpo won his first Most Valuable Player trophy during the 2018-19 season after nearly leading the Bucks to the NBA Finals. He is one of the best players in the game and is seemingly always a threat to etch his name in the history books on any given night.
