Mets Notes

  • The Mets placed RHP Taijuan Walker on the 10-day injured list with left side tightness and have called up OF Cameron Maybin, who will be making his Mets debut.

  • The Mets have won nine of their last 12 games, and Tuesday's win marked their first series win in Atlanta since 2017. A win on Wednesday would mark their first sweep in Atlanta since April 22-24, 2016 at Turner Field.

  • Dominic Smith will get his first action at first base this season.

  • RHP Sam McWilliams and LHP Stephen Tarpley were placed on the IL.
