David Bakhtiari back on the Packers’ active roster

By now, the entire country knows what has been going on with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. However, if everything goes as planned, the reigning NFL MVP should return this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks.

In other good news regarding the Packers, the team announced that Pro Bowl tackle David Bakhtiari had been added to the active roster after coming off of Injured Reserve.

The former Colorado Buffaloes star will provide a much-needed spark to a depleted offensive line in Green Bay, although it remains to be seen when exactly he will be ready to take the field for game action.

Well, this is even more good news for the Packers. Bakhtiari has been one of the best offensive line talents in the NFL since he landed in Green Bay after being selected in the 2nd round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Bakhtiari is a three-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro tackle, and Rodgers must be sitting back smiling somewhere.

After landing on the PUP list, the big man has been on the shelf for the entire season and is set to return as soon as this weekend.

However, the latest Packers’ injury report might have put a significant damper on his chances to return on Sunday against the Seahawks.

Nonetheless, there is a shot he plays, and just being back on the practice field is a terrific sign for Matt LaFleur and the Packers.

Russell Wilson is set to return for Seattle, and with Rodgers and possibly Bakhtiari returning for Green Bay, this matchup could be must-watch television on Sunday.
