Indiana's non-conference schedule continues to take shape, with four additional dates and opponents now known.
The program on Monday announced it will host four teams as part the 2017 Hoosier Tip-Off Classic, including South Florida, Eastern Michigan, Arkansas State and Howard.
"When it comes to giving teams the opportunity to play in Assembly Hall, everybody that we bring in here has to have great purpose, whether that's a national opponent or a game we're preparing to play a specific style of a team coming from a different league that we'll see later down the road," IU head coach Archie Miller said in a statement. "As we look toward the future, we want to put ourselves on a marquis stage as much as you can, but also schedule with great intelligence to fit all of our needs that put us in the best possible position for post season play."
IU will host Howard on Nov. 12, South Florida on Nov. 19, Arkansas State on Nov. 22 and Eastern Michigan on Nov. 24.
With those games announced, eight of the Hoosiers' possible 13 non-conference opponents are now known.
Indiana will also travel to Seton Hall as part of the annual Gavitt Tipoff Games on Nov. 15, host Duke as part of the annual Big Ten-ACC Challenge on Nov. 29, travel to Louisville on Dec. 9 and face Notre Dame as part of the annual Crossroads Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Dec. 16.
The final schedule will not be released until early September.
