Toronto Raptors shooting guard Danny Green has been selected to participate in the 2019 NBA All-Star Three-Point Contest.
Green will be part of a formidable field in Charlotte for one of the NBA’s marquee All-Star Weekend events, one that includes the likes of Steph and Seth Curry, Devin Booker, Joe Harris, Buddy Hield, Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, Dirk Nowitzki and Kemba Walker.
Green has been one of the Raptors most consistent players at both ends of the floor this season — his first in Toronto — and has been the team’s best marksmen from downtown, shooting 42 percent from three-point range.
The 31-year-old is on pace for his third-best season from beyond the arc. In the 2011-12 and 2012-13 campaigns with San Antonio, Green posted marks of 43.6 and 42.9 percent, respectively.
Green entered Tuesday’s action ranked 16th in three-point field goal percentage and 18th in three-pointers made.
