Daniel Theis questionable for Celtics vs. Nuggets originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

The Boston Celtics could be without Daniel Theis on Tuesday night when they take on the Denver Nuggets.

The C's big man is listed as questionable on Monday's injury report with a right index finger sprain. Marcus Smart (left calf tear) and Romeo Langford (wrist) will remain sidelined.

Theis' injury comes at an inconvenient time for the Celtics, who are hoping to get back on track following an ugly 104-91 loss to the Washington Wizards. The 6-foot-8 center has been the team's most consistent big man to this point in the season, averaging 9.3 points and 5.1 rebounds through 26 games.

Boston is 13-13 on the campaign heading into Tuesday night's game vs. Denver. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET at TD Garden with "Celtics Pregame Live" at 6:30 p.m. on NBC Sports Boston.
