The New York Giants traveled down to Louisiana for a Week 4 battle with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday and things went about as expected.

At least initially, that is.

Big Blue started strong but began to fade as similar issues arose: missed tackles, blown assignments, poor clock management and issues in the red zone (on both sides of the ball).

But just as things started to look ugly late, quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley stepped up and rallied the team.

After a Graham Gano field goal sent the game into overtime, Jones, Barkley and Kenny Golladay combined to ensure New Orleans wouldn’t sniff the field again.

With the win, the Giants improve to 1-3 on the season and remain very much alive.

Final score: Giants 24, Saints 21

It wasn’t one of those games that was decided throughout — it literally came down to the wire and the Giants answered the bell.

The Barkley touchdown capped off a nine-play, 75-yard drive that took 5:06 off the clock.
