Daniel Diehl earns pair of honorable mention All-American nods

Apr. 1—INDIANAPOLIS — In his NCAA championship debut, Cumberland native Daniel Diehl earned honorable mention All-American recognition in two events.

In the prelims of the 200 IM, Diehl set a personal best with a time of 1:41:84.

He finished 16th in the B-final with a time of 1:43:60, earning honorable mention All-American honors.

He was part of the 800 M freestyle relay team along with Kacper Stokowski, Luke Miller and Arsenio Bustos who finished ninth with a time of 6:08:78.

Diehl, an Allegany grad, swam his leg in 1:31:52.
