Daniel Carlson earned a second season with the Raiders after being picked up midyear following his release from the Minnesota Vikings. Carlson connected on 16 of his 17 field goal attempts with the Raiders in 2018.
But the 2019 season wasn't quite as productive for Carlson, as the Auburn product made just 19 of his 26 field goal attempts, also missing two extra points for the Raiders.
Special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia believes Carlson is primed for a comeback season in 2020, after the kicker signed his exclusive rights free agent tender with the team in April.
"We feel like he's come back really strong," Bisaccia told reporters from training camp. "He's had a tremendous offseason getting together with (punter) AJ (Cole) and doing a lot of work on his own."
