Members of the First Team are Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis, Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons, Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert, and Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart.
On the other hand, the 2019-20 NBA All-Defensive Second Team consists of Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard, Bucks center Brook Lopez, Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo, Clippers guard Patrick Beverley and Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe.
Weeks ago, Lillard actually appeared on Redick’s podcast where he said that Holiday, in his opinion and experience, is the best defensive guard in the league.

Voters sometimes get this wrong time and time again, but the players will make sure that they are vocal of the respect that they will hand out to players who deserve it.
Holiday might not be on the list, could be because he is on the Pelicans, but the respect of the players and the game you play night in and night out is more worth it at the end of the day.
