Portland will play Toronto Sunday afternoon in the team's second of three scrimmages ahead of the eight seeding games, which will wrap-up the 2019-20 regular season before playoffs start in mid-August.
Head coach Terry Stotts said following the first scrimmage, which Portland lost to Indiana 91-88, he wasn't sure how many minutes the starters would play against Toronto. He started Lillard, CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony, Zach Collins and Jusuf Nurkic in the first scrimmage.
When Damian Lillard strained his groin against Memphis right before the All-Star break, Gary Trent Jr. replaced him in the starting lineup.
The Trail Blazers were without big man Hassan Whiteside (Achilles) and rookie forward Nassir Little (concussion) in the first scrimmage on Thursday. Their status for Sunday's game is still unknown at this time.
