LAS VEGAS -- Our Trail Blazers reporter Jamie Hudson caught up with National NBA writer Ben Golliver at NBA Summer League. Golliver is now with the Washington Post.

Of course, Portland fans will remember Golliver from his days writing for Blazer's Edge.

Before the interview even started, Golliver discussed how busy he has been with free agency this summer.

Yes, this offseason is probably one for the record books.

Golliver expressed how he feels it really came down to Damian Lillard hitting the game-winner over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 that changed the landscape of the Western Conference.

That shot over Paul George, which George called a ‘bad shot,' sent the Thunder packing in the first round of the 2019 playoffs and in Golliver's mind it probably also sent George packing to LA.

Hudson also asked Golliver about the Trail Blazers offseason moves from drafting Nassir Little to how he thinks Hassan Whiteside will fit with the Blazers. Be sure to check back here on our website or follow us on Twitter at @NBCSNorthwest for more with Golliver throughout the remainder of NBA Summer League.
