Class A Winston-Salem

Micker Adolfo homered as part of a two-hit day that raised his batting average to .395 on the season. It was his second long ball of the campaign. His other hit on the day was a double. Also in Winston-Salem's 6-2 loss, Gavin Sheets, Blake Rutherford and Alex Call each had a hit. Luis Alexander Basabe went 0-for-4, but he's still hitting .372 on the season.

Double-A Birmingham

Birmingham played two games Sunday, with Ian Clarkin excellent in one of the short games, allowing just one run and striking out six over seven innings. Zack Collins homered in that one, a 2-1 win, and Seby Zavala also had a hit. No one fared well in the other game, a 9-2 loss.

Triple-A Charlotte

Charlie Tilson had two hits in a five-inning 4-3 loss.
