May 18—Big Ten tournament titles won by the Illinois baseball program. The first happened in 1989, the second in 1990, the third in 2000 and the fourth in 2011. The winner of next week's tournament, which started in 1981 and has been held at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Neb., since 2018, earns the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The double-elimination tournament begins on Tuesday.
