Cycling nuts! Squirrels enjoy playing on bicycles

These squirrels are going nuts for their bikes. Spotting a couple of toy bicycles in the snow, the little creatures wasted no time hopping on board and playing. Perched on the bikes and even clinging to helmets, the squirrels almost look as if they are rehearsing some difficult stunts.

The pictures were taken by Dutch photographer Geert Weggen, 49, who lives in Sweden. Geert said, “It was about minus 20 degrees, and I put the scene on a table in my garden with sunflower seeds in a small bucket above the cycle and motor, and waited for the squirrels.” (Caters News)
