Javier Báez is having himself a great offseason.
The Cubs shortstop, who took home his first career Gold Glove Award in November, and his wife Irmarie announced the birth of their second child on Thursday.
The couple, who also have a son named Adrian, made the big announcement on Instagram, following the Dec. 22 birth.
The Cubs offered the family congratulations on social media:
