Cubs-Dodgers postponed by rain; doubleheader Saturday originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

That's two in a row!

For just the second time in almost three weeks, the Cubs have put together back-to-back days without a loss, this time thanks to a rainout Friday after Thursday's scheduled day off.

The Cubs postponed the opener of Friday's series against the Dodgers to Saturday, when a day-night, separate-admission doubleheader has been scheduled, with new game times of 12:05 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. (the series concludes Sunday night with a 6:08 p.m. nationally-televised game).

For those who already had tickets for Friday's game, no ticket exchange is necessary. The Cubs say mobile tickets via the MLB Ballpark app will update automatically. Friday's postponed game is now Saturday's second game.

Meanwhile, that leaves plenty of time Friday to watch Bull Durham and explore the potential benefits of a rainout.
