CU Buffs remain in contention for top-ranked Oklahoma prospect Danny Okoye

Where is home?

Danny Okoye, the No. 1 ranked 2024 prospect in Oklahoma (247Sports Composite), posed that question via Twitter on Saturday morning as he revealed his top 10 schools of Colorado, LSU, Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Oregon, Tennessee and Oklahoma.

For the Buffs and head coach Deion Sanders, Boulder, of course, is the preferred answer to Okoye’s question. Colorado offered the four-star EDGE back in December and he took a visit the following month, later reporting a positive experience.

Okoye plays for the NOAH Jaguars, a team comprised of homeschooled athletes in Oklahoma. Over the past two seasons combined, he owns an impressive 121 tackles, 37 TFLs, 16.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.

Okoye told Ben McKee of 247Sports that he hopes to announce his college decision in “late October or late November.”
