Oregon Ducks head football coach Mario Cristobal has announced in his weekly press conference that secondary players Jamal Hill and DJ James will be available for the Ohio State game on Saturday.

The two players were suspended indefinitely before the season because of a run-in with the law. Hill and James faced misdemeanor charges in August when they were caught firing off an airsoft rifle in downtown Eugene and injured a few people.

Although they were suspended, the duo was still allowed to practice leading up to the Fresno State game, but they didn’t play. But now both will appear on the depth chart as the Ducks prepare to face No. 4 Ohio State in Columbus.

In their place, corners Trikweze Bridges and Dontae Manning played the majority of the snaps in their place and both freshmen played admirably in their first game as an Oregon Duck.

Now with Hill and James back in the fold and available, the depth in the secondary just got that much deeper and Oregon is going to need it against the Buckeyes.
