Coyotes D Chychrun (knee) cleared to skate
Arizona Coyotes defenseman Jakob Chychrun has been cleared to skate as he continues to recover from knee surgery he underwent in April.
General manager John Chayka said Chychrun "will resume skating any day now," according to multiple media reports.
Chychrun, 20, recorded four goals and 10 assists in 50 games last season before getting injured against the Calgary Flames on April 3. He had missed the first 29 games of the season after knee surgery in August 2017.
Chychrun had seven goals and 13 assists as a rookie in 2016-17 after being selected 16th overall by the Coyotes in the 2016 NHL Draft.
