As the Bears enter the fourth quarter of their season, so too does our Madden ‘20 simulation series. This week's Madden sim was a very one-sided affair, and unfortunately it was not in favor of the Bears.
However, Madden didn't pick the Bears to win in either of the last two weeks, and Matt Nagy's crew proved them wrong both times with wins over New York and Detroit. Here's hoping this week will be three in a row where the simulation was incorrect.
The star of this week's sim was Dallas' star RB, Ezekiel Elliott. The Ohio State product ran all over the Bears' defense, rushing for 148 yards on just 23 attempts, and scoring a touchdown. WR Michael Gallup (the Cowboys' second receiver behind Amari Cooper) also had a big game, coming up with three catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns against the Bears' secondary that struggled at times against David Blough and the Lions on Thanksgiving.
The Bears' offense was quite the disappointment, as the Mitch Trubisky-led unit scored just three points and only gained 168 yards of total offense. Madden clearly thinks the Bears are not making a playoff run, as the Cowboys won this one easily, 30-3.
