The Oklahoma State Department of Health on Friday reported 3,974 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state. Oklahoma's cumulative number of confirmed coronavirus cases during the pandemic now stands at 708,938. Oklahoma's seven-day average of new daily cases has topped 2,000 for the first time since mid-September.

The Health Department on Friday reported no new coronavirus-related deaths. The state's cumulative number of provisional deaths, as tracked by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, stands at 12,419.
The Health Department on Friday reported a three-day average of 867 COVID-19 patients, 18 of whom were children, were in Oklahoma hospital beds, including 235 in intensive care. That's the highest number of COVID hospitalizations in Oklahoma since early October.
On Thursday, the percentage of Oklahomans who are fully vaccinated stood at 53.5%. That's well behind the national rate of 62%. Only 12 states have lower vaccination rates than Oklahoma.
There are 2,116,382 Oklahomans who are fully vaccinated, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Among the state's adults, 65% are fully vaccinated, and 80% have had at least one dose.
In Oklahoma, 629,469 fully vaccinated people have received a booster shot.
More than 5.3 million doses of vaccines have been administered in Oklahoma, including more than 1.4 million doses to Oklahomans 65 and older. The state has used 84.9% of the more than 6.2 million doses delivered to the state, according to the CDC.
