A comprehensive list of Russell Wilson’s incredible records and milestones this season

Joe Fann

Russell Wilson has been so good for so long now that it's easy to get numb to his accomplishments. It feels like every week he's breaking another Seahawks franchise record or NFL record.

Seattle's PR team does a fantastic job of documenting each of Wilson's records and milestones in their postgame notes. I figured it would be smart to compile all of them into one article as a way to illustrate just how monumental Wilson's season has been.

Here's his line for the year: 67.4 completion %, 3,708 yards, 28 touchdowns, 5 interceptions, 109.3 rating; 311 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.

Below is a comprehensive list of what Wilson has accomplished in 2019, organized by the game that each milestone was achieved. Again, huge shoutout to the Seahawks PR team for coming up with all of these insane facts and figures. Let's begin with Seattle's most recent games and work backwards.

Week 15: Seahawks 30, Panthers 24

Wilson's line: 20/26, 286 yards, 2 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 137.7 rating

- With the win, tied Tom Brady as the winningest quarterback in a player's first eight seasons in NFL history with 86.

- His 31-7 record following an in-season loss is the best record by a quarterback since the 1970 merger.

- With 286 pass yards, passed Drew Bledsoe (29,257) for fifth place on the NFL's most passing yards in a quarterback's first eight seasons list with 29,332.

- Since 2012, leads the NFL with 21 games with at least a 130.0 passer rating.

- Has 51 career games with multiple TD passes and no INTs, the most such games in NFL history by a QB in his first 8 seasons.

Week 13: Seahawks 37, Vikings 30

Wilson's line: 21/31, 240 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception, 98.9 rating

- With the win, Russell Wilson became the first quarterback in NFL history with a winning record in each of his first eight seasons.*

*This stat is strictly "first eight seasons in the NFL" rather than "first eight seasons as a starter," which is why Tom Brady didn't accomplish this feat. Still an incredibly telling and impressive stat for Wilson.

- Moved ahead of Cam Newton into 6th place for most passing yards in a quarterback's first eight seasons list with 28,670.

Wilson's line: 24/34, 232 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 interception, 86.9 rating
