Colts vs. Steelers: NFL experts make Week 16 picks

The Indianapolis Colts (10-4) are preparing for the biggest game of the season as they look to continue their winning ways in a road matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-3) at Heinz Field on Sunday.

Vegas has the Colts entering the weekend as slight two-point road favorites and most are expecting a tight game from two defenses that are considered to be among the best in the business.

Here’s how the experts around the league see the game shaking out:

As of this writing, 174 analysts have made their picks over at Tallysight with 74% siding with Indy as road winners in this matchup. Despite the start the Steelers got to begin the season, they’ve hit a skid in recent weeks that have included some rough losses.

This is a big matchup for both teams even though the Steelers have already clinched their spot in the playoffs. They want to end their losing streak and get on the right foot going into the playoffs while the Colts are right in the thick of the wild-card hunt for one of the final spots in the AFC playoff race.

The Colts also have a chance to win the division if they pull off the win and the Packers beat the Titans this weekend. There are a number of ways the Colts can clinch a playoff berth this weekend but all include a win over the Steelers.

Even with the current slide for the Steelers, its never easy going into Heinz Field for a win. That said, it seems the majority of analysts are picking the Colts.
