The Indianapolis Colts reached an agreement on a one-year deal with pending free-agent defensive tackle Taven Bryan just before the official start of the new league year Wednesday.

A former first-round pick with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2018 NFL draft, Bryan hasn’t lived up to that draft pedigree. However, the Colts will be giving him a prove-it deal as a depth addition to their interior defensive line.

The news was first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN.
