  1. Malik Hooker: Hooker has been a big playmaker for the Colts already snagging three interceptions in his four career starts. All three came in consecutive games vs the Cardinals, Browns, and Seahawks which are teams that have an at least average offense. Malik has also totaled 17 tackles which is still good considering he shares snaps with veteran Darius Butler who converted to safety after last season.

  2. Nate Hairston: Hairston has exploded into the “pass rushing defensive back” scene totaling two sacks, putting him in second place for sacks out of all Colts only trailing Jabaal Sheard by half a sack. Week 4 in Seattle after a beautiful punt by Rigoberto Sanchez, Hairston was able to sack Russel Wilson for two points as he barley got the safety. Hairston also has a pass deflection and 14 tackles playing in the slot corner spot.

  3. Marlon Mack: Mack has only played in three games, vs the Rams, Cardinals, and 49ers. Through those three games Mack has totaled 112 yards in 25 attempts and also has two touchdowns. Last week vs San Francisco, Mack had 91 yards on just nine carries. For only playing in three games Mack has shown that he has a strong possibility to be the back of the future for the Colts who haven’t had a running back that’s rushed for around the same ratio of Mack’s nine for 91 since 2015 Frank Gore.
