Colts elevate QB Brett Hundley, S Ibraheim Campbell to active roster

The Indianapolis Colts elevated quarterback Brett Hundley and safety Ibraheim Campbell from the practice squad to the active roster, the team announced Saturday.

Even with Jacob Eason on the active roster, the Colts will be using Hundley as the backup quarterback to Wentz. This has been the case since Week 3 when Wentz was in question to play due to a pair of sprained ankles.

Wentz is listed as questionable for the matchup but is expected to play after logging limited practices every day this week, which is something he didn’t do in Week 3.

Campbell gets the call up after re-signing to the practice squad this week. He will likely see most of his work on special teams while starter Khari Willis has been ruled out. Andrew Sendejo will start alongside Julian Blackmon at safety.
