Colorado transfer Kaden Ludwick commits to Oregon, switches positions

The transfer portal is still buzzing. This time, it isn’t Deion Sanders that earned a commitment, although he did get another Florida State transfer this weekend.

In some surprising news, former Colorado Buffaloes linebacker Kaden Ludwick has decided to transfer to Oregon. That’s not the surprising part. The shocking decision is that Ludwick is making the transition to tight end in Eugene (h/t Zachary Neels of Ducks Wire):

Ludwick redshirted as a freshman in Boulder, but comes to Eugene with plans of playing tight end, which is a position of need for the Ducks. Ludwick was classified as a linebacker coming out of high school, which could also be a place where he could help alleviate depth issues in Eugene.

Ludwick also made the announcement on his Twitter page, and transitioning to tight end should be fun, especially in a high-powered offense that features Bo Nix and Troy Franklin.

Ludwick is originally from Oregon, so returning to his home state surely had something to do with this move.
