Rundown: Colorado took a bit hit to their secondary when three players went off to the NFL, but the returning group is pretty good too, and newcomer Chris Miller is impressive. Miller already has top of the line Pac-12 speed and could see some time at cornerback this season.

Rundown: The former USC commit definitely has the talent to play in the Pac-12, but his enrollment has been delayed as he's expected in Boulder at the end of July. He might need to take a redshirt year to learn the defensive playbook, or he could come in ready to go and play for a defense that lost its starting defensive lineman from last season.

Rundown: Sparaco enrolled at Colorado in January and participated in spring practices. The former three-star recruit is slated to play defensive end and could see the field, which would be more likely to happen if injuries occur.

Rundown: Landman is an impressive looking prospect who can play either inside or outside linebacker for the Buffaloes. The Jack and Mike inside linebacker spots for CU have very youthful depth, and Landman could fit right into that.

Rundown: Sensing a theme here? Colorado lost a lot in the front seven, and need some beef to replace some of their key players. Callier was listed as a strongside defensive end as a prospect in the class of 2017, but Colorado lists Callier as an outside linebacker and can fight for playing time right away.

Rundown: Olver can play all over field. Whether he ends up on the defensive line, outside linebacker, or even tight end is up in the air. Olver is a force on the edge of the field, so we like him to end up on the defensive side of the ball, but he is a good looking player at tight end as well.
