Colorado commit Omar White charged in connection with Georgia shootings

According to a Monday report from the Valdosta Daily Times, Colorado football commit Omar White was charged in connection with a pair of related shootings that occurred in Valdosta, Georgia on Feb. 26.

The report said that detectives obtained arrest warrants on White for felony aggravated assault, felony aggravated battery and felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The Valdosta High School junior was taken into custody without incident.

All three victims of the shootings were treated and released from the hospital according to police.

White, a four-star class of 2024 defensive lineman, committed to the Buffaloes on Dec. 26.
