Here we go with the College Hoops DFS evening slate for the First Round NCAA Tournament games starting at 6:25 ET on Friday. There are eight games listed within that, and here are the lines:

Liberty vs. Oklahoma State (-7) / Total: 139

Wisconsin vs. North Carolina (-1.5) / Total: 137.5

Cleveland State vs. Houston (-19) / Total: 134.5

North Texas vs. Purdue (-7) / Total: 126.5

Rutgers vs. Clemson (+1.5) / Total: 125.5

Syracuse vs. San Diego State (-3) / Total: 139

Morehead State vs. West Virginia (-13) / Total: 137

Winthrop vs. Villanova (-7) / Total: 143

With that, let’s get to the daily fantasy analysis!

Taz Sherman - West Virginia - FD: $5,300 - DK: $6,300

Sherman has a reasonable salary across both DFS sites tonight. Because of that, he represents an adequate filler through all contest formats. West Virginia should have a significant talent advantage over Morehead State, but the 13-point spread suggests that WVU will need their starters to play the entire game (less blowout probability). Sherman has produced 26+ fantasy points in three of his last four, and there’s a good chance he’ll reach that plateau this evening.

Chandler Vaudrin - Winthrop - FD: $6,700 - DK: $8,000

As you can see above, this Winthrop-Villanova game has the highest over/under of the night. Vaudrin serves as the catalyst for Winthrop, and he should have plenty of usage to flirt with a triple-double. Villanova ranks 143rd in defensive efficiency this season, which is among the worst of any team playing in this evening slate. Vaudrin is on my DFS shortlist through all formats, and teammate Hunter Hale is worth a look on FanDuel as well.

Darius McGhee - Liberty - FD: $7,000 - DK: $7,400

Liberty could give Oklahoma State a scare tonight, and McGhee will do everything in his power to make that happen. Granted, he hasn’t seen talent like Okie State, but McGhee has chipped in 31+ fantasy points in five of his last six. He’ll have the benefit of playing up in pace, as the Cowboys rank 19th in possessions per game. McGhee should fire up a ton of shots, and there’s realistic DFS upside if his three-pointers are falling.

Also Consider: D’Moi Hodge, Isaac Likekele, Torrey Patton

Kalib Boone - Oklahoma State - FD: $5,400 - DK: $6,800

Boone was an absolute beast in the Big 12 Tournament, helping his team reach the Final. The OKST forward produced 28+ fantasy points in three games last week, and he should keep eating against a lesser Liberty team. Boone is very underpriced on FanDuel, but I believe he’s worth a look for $6,800 on DraftKings as well.

Matt Mitchell - San Diego State - FD: $6,500 DK: $7,100

This Syracuse-San Diego State tilt has the second-highest over/under of the night at 139. It’s difficult to predict how SDSU will handle the Orange’s zone, but Mitchell should be in the center of their offensive scheme. He has legitimate 20 point 10 rebound upside while seeing a ton of minutes for the Aztecs.

Jermaine Samuels - Villanova - FD: $6,600 - DK: $7,000

With injuries to their backcourt, Villanova will need to lean heavily on Samuels and other frontcourt players to advance in this tournament. Samuels has looked good with 32+ fantasy points in his last two games, and he’s only a fraction of the cost as his teammate, Robinson-Earl. The CBB DFS Optimizer really likes Samuels, and he could have a nice outing against Winthrop.

Also Consider: Kyle Rode (DK filler), Armando Bacot (cheap on FD), Johni Broome
