The SEC took center stage on Saturday, and at least one game brought the drama.

No. 10 LSU shocked No. 6 Alabama with a 32-31 overtime victory when Jayden Daniels passed to Mason Taylor for the winning two-point conversion.

The win means the Tigers are now in prime position to win the SEC West, while Alabama's playoff chances are suddenly very shaky.

The earlier major SEC matchup of the day went Georgia's way — by a lot. The defending national champion Bulldogs, ranked third, pushed around No. 1 Tennessee in a 27-13 victory in Athens.

In addition to making a major statement, the Bulldogs also gave themselves the inside track to win the SEC East once again. It appears Georgia and LSU are on a collision course for the SEC title game.

Another top team, No. 4 Clemson, was upset 35-14 by unranked Notre Dame. That will do a lot of damage to Clemson's playoff hopes.
