Colin Cowherd has nothing nice to say about Tua Tagovailoa

As children, most of us have heard the saying: “If you don’t have anything nice to say about someone, don’t say anything at all.” Well, Colin Cowherd has either never been told that or just chooses to ignore it.

This morning, following the NFL schedule release last night, Cowherd took the time to record a video where he stated that he believes the Miami Dolphins‘ first eight games are against opponents that will lead to trouble for the second-year quarterback out of Alabama.

It’s important to point out specific wording used in the clip. He’s not arguing the games will be tough for Miami, but that that will be bad for Tagovailoa.

He goes on to compare the young quarterback to every passer on the opposing teams.

“[Tua’s] going to look smaller, he’s not going to have the arm, he’s not as athletic, he doesn’t have the pre-snap excellence right now of a Matt Ryan or Tom Brady. Those first eight weeks, he’s going to be the second-best quarterback in eight games,” says Cowherd.

Cowherd believes that the Dolphins lockerroom has not bought-in to Tagovailoa being their franchise quarterback, which is a claim that has not been corroborated by any recent reports over the 2021 offseason.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to publishe updates regarding Tua Tagovailoa in his sophomore season in the NFL.
