Coast Guard rescues three after sailboat sinks

Feb. 6—Three people were rescued Sunday by the U.S. Coast Guard when their sailboat sank near St. Marys.

Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville was notified at around 1 p.m. Sunday by the operator of Last Chance that the 26-foot sailboat had run aground and was taking on water about a mile north of the St. Marys Inlet.
