CM Punk Opens Up on Effects of $4 Million Lawsuit Ahead of UFC 225
CM Punk is a legend in the world of professional wrestling, but he's still getting his feet on the ground in mixed martial arts.
He made his fighting debut on the biggest stage in the sport, the UFC, but it was disastrous. Punk lost to Mickey Gall in 2:14 in September of 2016. Coming close to two years later, he'll return to the octagon at UFC 225 in his hometown of Chicago on the pay-per-view main card on Saturday, which in and of itself carries a massive amount of pressure.
In addition to typical training and then fight week responsibilities, Punk had been dealing with a $4 million lawsuit that stemmed from his days in the WWE. The lawsuit was finally resolved in the midst of fight week, removing one thing from Punk's plate.
