When you're in Connor McDavid's company, you're doing something right.
DeBrusk's score was the eighth game-winning goal in his brief NHL career, which puts him in elite company.
Jake DeBrusk scored twice, including his 8th career winning goal as the @NHLBruins won their third straight game.
Only two players from the 2015 draft class have more GWG since @JDebrusk entered the NHL: Connor McDavid (13) & Kyle Connor (9). https://t.co/cjnyOOsTg1 #NHLStats pic.twitter.com/FMTnHgLKuN

Perhaps more impressive is that DeBrusk is in just his second NHL season and has only played in 102 NHL games.
McDavid, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NHL Draft, has 248 games and three and a half seasons with the Edmonton Oilers under his belt, while Kyle Connor, the Winnipeg Jets' 17th pick, has amassed 135 games in two-plus seasons.
That means DeBrusk is scoring game-winning goals at a faster rate than any player in the loaded 2015 draft class, which includes nine NHL All-Stars.
Not bad for a 22-year-old kid who went 14th overall in 2015 and spent the 2016-17 season with the Providence Bruins.
Since then, DeBrusk has emerged as a clutch performer and consistent producer for Boston. His 13 goals are tied with Patrice Bergeron for third-most on the team, and he's on pace to net over 25 goals, which would easily surpass his rookie year total of 16.
