Cleveland Browns 2023 NFL Draft pick tracker | Every pick, Cedric Tillman to Luke Wypler
The Cleveland Browns were mere spectators for Round 1 of the NFL draft for the second straight year on Thursday night — courtesy of the 2022 trade for quarterback Deshaun Watson (that cost them next year's first-round pick, too).
They entered Friday's second night of the draft without a second-round pick, too, meaning they did not make a pick until the third round. The Browns, though, were quite busy from that point forward over the final two days of the draft. They made two third-round picks Friday before making five more picks Saturday afternoon. They threw in one trade Saturday and left the draft with seven new players on their roster.
Here's how the draft unfolded for the Browns over the final two days of the 2023 NFL Draft:
Browns trade their seventh-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens
The Browns almost made it through the draft without a trade. Almost. Before they went on the clock to make their final scheduled pick of the draft, the 229th pick overall, they traded it to Baltimore for a 2024 sixth-round pick.

Browns select Ohio State center Luke Wypler with the 190th pick
After a break of about 2 hours following a busy stretch of four picks between Nos. 111-142 Saturday afternoon, the Browns took Ohio State center Luke Wypler with their pick in the sixth round. He was the 190th pick overall. He becomes the second Buckeye offensive linemen they've drafted today. With their first pick of the day, the Browns took offensive tackle Dawand Jones. The Browns, unless they make a trade, have one pick left in the draft, a seventh-rounder at No. 229 overall.

Browns select Northwestern cornerback Cam Mitchell with the 142nd pick
With their second pick within the last three of the fifth round, the Browns took Cam Mitchell, a cornerback out of Northwestern. They took him at No. 142 overall. Mitchell is the second Northwestern cornerback drafted by the Browns in the last three drafts. They selected Greg Newsome II in the first round of the 2021 draft.

Browns select UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson with 140th pick
The Browns own two of the next three picks in the fifth round. With the 140th overall pick, they took Dorian Thompson-Robinson, a quarterback out of UCLA. He holds Bruins career records for completions (860), attempts (1,359), passing yards (10,710) and touchdown passes (88). This pick came from the Rams.
Browns select Missouri defensive end Isaiah McGuire with 126th pick
With their second pick of the fourth round, the Browns stayed up front, but switched sides of the ball. They took Isaiah McGuire, a defensive end out of Missouri, with the 12th pick. The Browns have used three straight picks on linemen, two on the defensive side and one offensive tackle. This pick came from the Vikings.
Browns select Ohio State offensive tackle Dawand Jones with 111th pick
The Browns got help up front with their first pick of Day 3, taking Ohio State offensive tackle Dawand Jones with their pick at No. 111. He started all 13 games at right tackle last season for the Buckeyes after starting all 13 games at right guard in 2021. He earned first-team All-America honors in 2022 by CBSSports.com and was second-team All-Big Ten by the league’s coaches. He played 41 games overall in his four seasons at OSU, starting 27 of them.
Browns await start of Day 3 of 2023 NFL Draft
The Browns could be quite busy during the final day of the draft, which features Round 4-7 to wrap up the three-day event. They’re scheduled to make six picks, starting with the ninth pick of the fourth round this afternoon. The draft resumes at noon today.
How long do teams have to make their NFL draft picks today?
Teams get five minutes per choice today for Round 4-6 before the time is reduced to four minutes per pick in Round 7.
By comparison, teams had up to 10 minutes in Round 1 and seven minutes per pick in Round 2.
Browns select Baylor defensive tackle Siaki Ika with 98th pick
The Browns went back on the clock 24 picks after making their initial pick of the 2023 draft. Their pick at No. 98 is Baylor defensive tackle Siaki Ika. The 335-pound Ika was the 2021 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year after transferring from LSU.

Browns select Tennessee wide receiver Cedric Tillman with 74th pick
For the second straight year, the Browns waited a while to make their first pick in the draft. Like last year, they didn’t go on the clock until Round 3 on Friday. Their pick this year, the 74th overall of the draft, is Tennessee wide receiver Cedric Tillman. An early season ankle injury in the Volunteers' game against Akron limited him to 37 catches for 417 yards and three touchdowns last fall. Before the injury, he went for 162 yards on nine catches in a win at Pitt, including catching the game-winning 28-yard TD. He totaled 1,081 receiving yards in 2021.
