Clemson softball vs Oklahoma: NCAA Tournament Super Regional schedule, TV info

Clemson softball has a tall task to complete in order to advance to the program's first Women's College World Series.

The Tigers will face No. 1 overall seed and two-time defending national champion Oklahoma in the NCAA Softball Tournament Super Regionals, beginning Friday in Norman, Oklahoma.

Clemson won games against UNC Greensboro and Auburn to advance to the regional final last weekend at McWhorter Stadium. Auburn won the first championship game on Sunday against Clemson, but the hometown Tigers won 5-1 in the winner-take-all regional final later Sunday to earn a spot in the Super Regionals.

Oklahoma extended its winning streak to 46, one short of the NCAA record, by run-ruling Cal in the Norman Regional Final on Sunday.

Game 1: Oklahoma vs. Clemson, 2 p.m. Friday on ESPN2

Game 3: Oklahoma vs. Clemson (If necessary), TBD on Sunday (TV TBD after Game 2)
