Clemson RB commit scores 6 touchdowns in 1 half
A Clemson running back commit had a career game on Friday night.
Playing in just one half, Gideon Davidson rushed for 275 yards and six touchdowns on 12 attempts, helping lead Liberty Christian Academy (Lynchburg, Virginia) to a 62-10 win on Friday, according to All Clemson’s Jason Priester.
A four-star recruit, Davidson committed to Clemson in June and is one of the two commits in the Tigers’ 2025 recruiting class alongside four-star quarterback Blake Hebert.
Davidson is the No. 5 running back and the No. 60 overall recruit in the class of 2025, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. As a freshman in 2021, the 6-foot, 193-pound tailback rushed for 1,241 yards and 19 touchdowns on 112 attempts.
