Cissna Park volleyball falls in state semifinals
Nov. 10—NORMAL — After a 32-3 regular season and a 17-match win streak that took them to the IHSA volleyball state finals for the first time since 2015, the Cissna Park Timberwolves fell 25-17, 25-13 to Hartsburg-Emden this morning at Redbird Arena.
While the loss, Cissna Park's first since Sept. 27, ended the Timberwolves chances at their first state championship, they still have a chance to bring home a trophy. They'll play the loser of Effingham St. Anthony and Galena at 9 a.m. Saturday for third place.
Details to come.
