It’s getting dangerously close to March now which can only mean one thing: the absurd, buzzer-beating, game-winning buckets are coming.

To get you in the mood, take a look at what happened Friday night in a 5A Arizona state quarterfinal game between Centennial High School and Laveen Betty Fairfax. With the game tied at 66, and only seconds remaining on the clock, the Centennial Coyotes were desperate to find any easy look at the rim it could.

Only there were no easy looks. Instead, there was this:

After a failed baseline drive led to a tipped pass in the lane, Centennial sophomore Jojo Rincon found himself with the ball near the logo with no choice but to toss it up as time expired.

Incredibly, it went in, sending the 11th seed Coyotes to the state semifinals and making Rincon a school legend. Naturally, Rincon was carried off the court by his teammates and fellow students.

These moments will never not be awesome.
