Christian McCaffrey says the Panthers have a ‘complete offense’

The Panthers offense has been a bit of a one-man show the last few years. Christian McCaffrey may be the best running back in the sport when he’s healthy, but he’s been carrying a heavy load offensively. Part of the problem is McCaffrey is having to do the work of several men. While their wide receivers look good, Carolina hasn’t gotten much from their quarterbacks and tight ends.

Goods news: this year their offense looks more balanced, at least on paper. McCaffrey told reporters today they have a “complete offense” and the key is to not beat themselves.

There are several promising new pieces in the fold, now – including rookie wide receiver Terrace Marshall and veteran tight end Dan Arnold, both of whom have been making splashes at training camp.

McCaffrey is still leading the charge, though. Today he broke off a huge run for a touchdown during team drills.
