Chris Young allows two unearned runs in no-decision

Mariners starting pitcher Chris Young pitched well but only lasted five innings in a no-decision Saturday night against the Rangers in Arlington. He allowed two unearned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six. Of his 95 pitches, 58 were strikes.

Young has allowed eight earned runs over his last 9 1/3 innings of work. He owns a 3.35 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP over 156 innings. His next start will come Friday at home against Oakland.
