Chris Martin urges fans to support Greg James' Sport Relief challenge in hilarious video

Chris Martin has asked fans to throw their support behind Greg James' Sport Relief challenge in a hilarious video.

The Coldplay frontman has gotten behind BBC Radio 1 presenter James during his impressive 'Gregathlon'.

James is set to tackle the highest mountain in the British Isles, Ben Nevis, in aid of Sport Relief.

The video shows the Paradise singer don a blonde wig and sunglasses.

Martin appears to be sat with his guitar crooning words in support of James.

He sings: “Well he’s heading off on his final leg, if you wanna help him then text the word Greg.

“Doesn’t really matter if you don’t like him, you’ve got to respect all that climbing and biking.”

James had previously attempted to tackle the challenge of biking to the peaks and then taking on the epic climb.

However, due to unprecedented weather conditions in the wake of the Beast from the Eas,t he was forced to call it off.

He is now re-doing the trip and intends to power through the rest of the journey.

James is set to climb Ben Nevis on Friday as part of the final milestone.
