Chiefs Super Bowl LVII puzzle featured on ‘Wheel of Fortune’

Kansas City Chiefs fans who watched Wednesday’s episode of  “Wheel of Fortune” were met with a pleasant surprise. Pat Sajak and Vanna White had another opportunity to remind the Chiefs Kingdom that they’re the reigning Super Bowl champions.

Kansas City’s NFL team was last featured on a “Wheel of Fortune” puzzle following their Super Bowl LIV win in the 2019-20 season. This time around, the Chiefs were featured as a nod to their Super Bowl LVII win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

The completed puzzle read, “Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl!”

This was the first puzzle after contestants were introduced during the episode. The contestant who solved the puzzle, Jeremy, won a hefty load of cash, a trip to Switzerland and landed a wild card during the opening round. Ironically, the Chiefs just were awarded international marketing rights to Switzerland.

“Yeah, it was in all the papers,” Sajak joked. “I think they even televised it this year.”

This puzzle appeared to be a good omen for Jeremy, who would go on to the bonus round with nearly $50K in cash and prizes.
