Chiefs select Ball State CB Nic Jones at pick No. 250
With the 250th pick in the 2023 NFL draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select Ball State CB Nic Jones.
This is the team’s final pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
Jones is a 6-foot and 185-pound cornerback with great ball production while at Ball State. He has some versatility to his game, with snaps both inside and outside on defense. He also played on the punt and kick block teams on special teams for the Cardinals.
He missed the second half of the 2021 college season with an injury, but he had a solid bounce-back year in 2022. He was a standout at the East-West Shrine Bowl, just like earlier pick BJ Thompson.
